According to the notification from Chinese Academy of Science in 2010, totally 15 advanced groups and 20 excellent individuals were awarded the prize. The National Engineering Laboratory of Methanol to Olefin was awarded Chinese Academy of Science Advanced group prize.

On January 27, the award ceremony was held in Guoyi Hotel in Beijing. The Professor Liu zhongmin, Deputy Director of Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics and Director of The National Engineering Laboratory of Methanol to Olefin was presented to accept the prize.
